DTSG To Organize Health Summit – Dr. Ononye

Delta State Commissioner for Health, Dr Mordi Ononye has inaugurated a Health Summit Committee and charged its members to come up with concepts to deliver a successful Health Summit that will articulate policy document and action plan required to move the health sector in the State forward.
Ononye affirmed that the State Government under Senator Dr Ifeanyi Arthur Okowa desires to bequeath a comprehensive health sector, capable of meeting the present day international standard of health services to Deltans.
He therefore, charged members to put in their best as professionals to help the State Government get the best policy document on how to standardise the operations of the health sector, for the best interest of the people of Delta State and her visitors.

Appointed to head the Health Summit Committee is Dr Isaac Akpobeta as chairman while Dr Michael Nwoko is the Secretary.
Other members of the Committee include; Dr Ejiro Ogheneaga, Dr F. Omoraka, Dr J. Winful Orieke, Dr Ben Nkechika and Dr Dan Omodon.
Also appointed to form the Secretariat Team of the committee are Dr C. Teshola, Dr Charles Eboka, Dr Oke Owigho and Dr A. Agholor.
The inauguration ceremony held on Wednesday, 19th January, 2022, at the conference room of the State Ministry of Health, with the Committee Chairman, Dr Akpoveta accepting to galvanise the Committee members to give the State government the desired result from the summit.
