2023: Delta SDP To Inaugurate Electoral Committee March 30

Says Party Ready To Take Power From PDP

The Delta State chapter of the Social Democratic Party (SDP), will on the 30th of March, 2022, inaugurate the Electoral Committee for the 2023 elections.

This was disclosed in a statement on Monday by the chairman of the party in the state, Ambassador Oke Idawene.

The party chieftain added that with the new Electoral Act, they are ready to clinch power from.the ruling Peoples Democratic Party and take over the State, come 2023.

Adding: “We now have equal opportunity.”

Meanwhile, a statement signed by Pst. Highness Akporode, State Secretary and made available to Oasis Magazine, said that a meeting of the party’s
state excos, LGA Chairmen and stakeholders will hold on the same day.

According to the statement, the meeting scheduled to commence at 11am prompt will take place at the State Office of the party, Secretariat, Koka, Asaba.

Agendas for the meeting include the 2023 general election, state of the party, media briefing and courtesy call to the INEC Resident Electoral Commissioner in the state.
