By Our Reporter
The main road leading to Ovre Eku and other Urhobo communities across the River Ethiope in a disputed area between Edo and Delta State was thrown into crisis today as protesters in their hundreds besieged the road, protesting a recent gating of the road by PRESCO Plc, a private Agro Company.
So far, no one can tell the number of casualties as police attached to PRESCO reportedly shot at protesters.
At the time of this report, both PRESCO workers and the villagers cannot move to their different destinations.

It was gathered that trouble started some six years ago when PRESCO came to the area with a claim that they acquired the Urhobo Communities and land from Edo State and some Bini chiefs.
Despite court orders asking PRESCO and the Ovre Eku Community to maintain status quo, PRESCO has continued to flout court orders and misleading security operatives to harass and lockup the people of the community.
Meanwhile, news just came in that police attached to PRESCO just reportedly killed one 14 year old Obruche and went away with his body.
