Uwalaka Congratulates Ufuophu-Biri Over Appointment As Rector, Delta State Polytechnic, Otefe-Oghara

Vice President, Ohaneze Ndigbo, Delta Central, Chief Nnamdi Uwalaka, has congratulated the new Rector of Delta State Polytechnic, Otefe-Oghara, Dr. Emmanuel Ufuophu-Biri.
In a statement on Sunday made available to media houses, Chief Uwalaka, recalled that Biri, an Associate Professor of Mass Communication and Journalism, lectured at the Delta State University, Abraka before the appointment, adding that he contributed immensely to the growth of the university during the said time.

According to the statement, Biri deserves more than the new appointment, saying he is an academic colossus in the state, just as he noted that the university don has made unique inputs in the development of education in Nigeria and beyond.

Continuing, while commending Governor Ifeanyi Okowa for the choice of Biri, he urged the new rector to continue in his noble path of breaking and setting records.
“I have no doubt that the polytechnic wikl experience massive transformation during your tenure,” he said.
Furthermore, he prayed that his tenure as rector in the tertiary institution will attract uncommon development, move the institution forward and make it a reference point to other tertiary institutions in the nation.
