NBA Effurun Branch Wins Inaugural Delta State Attorney-General’s Football Cup Competition
…As Bozimo Commends Winning Team

The Honourable Attorney-General and Commissioner for Justice Delta State, Isaiah Bozimo Esq., has commended the football team of the Nigerian Bar Association (NBA) Effurun Branch, for their gallant efforts in winning the inaugural Attorney-General’s Football Cup competition for all NBA Branches in Delta State.
The final which was played at the football pitch of the Ekpan Police Station Effurun, saw the NBA Effurun Branch defeat the NBA Udu Branch by 3 goals to 1.
Bozimo who was represented at the finals by the Solicitor-General and Permanent Secretary of the Ministry of Justice, Omamuzo Erebe Esq, presented the Attorney-General’s Championship Trophy and a cash gift to the NBA Effurun Branch team.
He stated that the essence of the Competition was to foster unity amongst the various NBA Branches in the State as well as provide an avenue to exercise and maintain a healthy lifestyle for Lawyers in the State.
The Chairmen of the NBA Branches of Warri, Udu and Effurun, Messrs Emmanuel Uti, Patrick Mekako and Jonathan Ekperusi in their respective interviews to newsmen at the final match, commended the Attorney-General and Commissioner for Justice for agreeing to sponsor the event even at short notice.
The Football Competition which was watched by a large number of spectators and lawyers across the State, saw the participation of football teams from the NBA Branches of Asaba, Oleh, Ughelli, Effurun, Udu and Warri.
