By Daniel Dafe
Former Vice Chairman, Ethiope East Local Government Area, Delta State, Hon. Christopher Izu, has said that the case between the winner of the governorship primaries of the People’s Democratic Party, PDP, Rt. Hon. Sheriff Oborevwori and Olorogun David Edvebie in the Court of Appeal was yet to be decided.
Supporters of Oborevwori had taken to Facebook on Friday to celebrate a court victory in the Speaker’s favour.

But to set the records straight, Izu in a Facebook post clarified what occurred at the court today.
He posted: “There’s a congratulatory message going round on social media congratulating Rt Hon Sheriff, please disregard as it has nothing to do with the PDP Vs Edevbie Appeal.”
Adding: “It’s the case of Ikie Vs PDP; date hasn’t been fixed for the hearing of the case at the Appeal Court Abuja.”
“This is omuta in action,” he opined.
