On this day, 67 years ago, a powerful being and generational leader was born. Today, 19th October is indeed a special day, a day of the birth of a power woman, a notable icon of tradition and an instrument of purposeful leadership.

Her Royal Majesty, Obi Martha Dunkwu (Omu Okpanam/Omu Anioma/Nneoha) is a woman that has seen it all these past 67 years. Being of a lowly birth, but through a dint of hardwork, she has redefined her family lineage and has given impetus to an all time identity of strength, character and perfect delivery in every aspect of human endeavour.

The history of Anioma today, cannot be written without the grace of Omu Dunkwu in it. We are exceedingly proud of the visibility of her personality and the renaissance of her calling in the Project Anioma.

Happy birthday today Your Majesty. May the light you represent in our generation never dim. May your wisdom continue to wax stronger and may the strength of your voice continue to find power and freshness.

Joy unspeakable you have already. Prosperity you have embodied. Sound health keeps being attracted to you. Long life is your portion because that is what we have continually prayed about for you. The voice of the people is the voice of God (vox populi, vox dei).

Once again, happy birthday and many blissful returns to a Beauty Queen in her teens, a First Female President of Asaba Chambers of Commerce, a First Female President of Delta State Chambers of Commerce, Pioneer Public Relations Officer of NACCIMA and First Life Vice President of NACCIMA. A renowned Lion of the Lions International Club. An Omu with swag and decency.

A woman who has brought visibility into the ancient institution of Omu, according to the former Governor of Delta State, Chief James Ibori.

A woman whose effort in the Chambers Movement and Organised Private Sector has brought about enormous gains of local and foreign investors into the Government of Delta State, according to the former Governor of Delta State, Dr. Emmanuel Uduaghan.

A Spokesperson once described her as “The woman with the corrosive touch of power”.

What more can be said about this rare gem of Beauty, Brain and Brawn? Thousands of books are not even enough to qualify how we value you.

Congratulations Your Majesty. Remain resplendent and may nothing undermine or underestimate the splendours of your seasons. Cheers to Royal Birth Anniversary.
