2023: Christians From Northern States Receive Tinubu’s Wife In Kaduna, Endorse APC Flagbearer
Thousands of Christians from across northern states today received the wife of the APC Presidential candidate, Senator Oluremi Tinubu in Kaduna.
The group, Christians Northern Nigeria Political Forum (CNNPF) has also endorsed Senator Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu for President come 2023, saying his choice to fly the APC ticket is based on his demonstrable capacity, competence and track record rather not his religion, according to the group’s coordinator, Ibrahim Itodo.
Kaduna State Deputy Governor, Dr Hadiza Sabuwa Balarabe received the entourage of Senator Remi Tinubu who was accompanied by the governors of Kano and Katsina, Abdullahi Umar Ganduje and Aminu Bello Masari.
Governor Nasir El-Rufai, who joined the meeting later said the APC governors from the northwestern states took two decisions before the party’s convention to ensure that the Presidency returns to the south after Buhari’s eight-year tenure and that Tinubu should be supported because of his towering record that surpassed all other southern candidates of the party.

El-Rufai admonished Nigerians to reject the religious narratives saying though a Muslim, Tinubu’s wife is a senior pastor with the Redeemed Christian Church of God and has remained so after over 30 years of her marriage, adding that judging by how Tinubu transformed Lagos state under eight years, he is capable of transforming Nigeria into a better and greater country when elected as the next president.
