Delta Set To Hit N1Trillion Debt Under Okowa –Oliver

Publisher of Secret Reporters, Comrade Fejiro Oliver has raised alarm that before the 2023 elections, Delta State under Senator (Dr.) Ifeanyi Okowa would have hit One Trillion Naira in debt.

In a Facebook post on Wednesday, the journalist known for nicknaming the governor as ‘The Bad Boy’ said as at today Delta stands at N657 billion debts from loans under this administration, noting that this is the highest in Nigeria.

In his words: “The Delta State House of Assembly who approved will collect 10% of that supplementary budget alleged a source to me. Cool N26 billion to be shared among them. Each lawmaker is N800 million richer.”

He continued: “N800 million is to be used to prosecute election next year.

“Principal officers are N1.2 billion richer.”

According to him, Governor Okowa again just recently took “a loan of N266.7 billion that will be spent in just 11 days in the name of supplementary budget.’

Adding: “The loan was approved in 10 minutes record time.”

In his post titled: ‘Cry yourself Rivers of blood Deltans’, he added that “Delta State account bleeds,” alleging that “Okowa is on a merciless looting.”

Furthermore, he warned that “Governor Ifeanyi A. Okowa and his candidate MUST not be voted into power by Deltans.”

“Else we are in for more cover up.

“Okowa seeks a man who will cover these monumental corruption and wanton looting

“Just N350 billion more.

“And we hit the record of N1 trillion debt. And yes Okowa will hit it… the signs are clear. Election na your mate?.”
