PAP: Ndiomu Is Transforming The Amnesty Programme For Best Interests Of Niger Delta – Warefa
Engr. Arthur Warefa, Chairman and Chief Executive, TUWASCO Nigeria Limited, has said Gen. Barry Ndiomu, Interim Coordinator of Presidential Amnesty programme was transforming the programme for the best interests of Niger Delta region.
Warefa spoke to newsmen on Saturday, in Warri, Delta State, while reacting to misleading publications and attacks on the person of Ndiomu by some mischief elements.
The Ijaw businessman said, President Muhammadu Buhari and National Security Adviser NSA, made a good choice to have appointed Gen. Barry Ndiomu, Interim Coordinator of Presidential Amnesty programme.
Warefa pointed that since Ndiomu assumed office, the Interim Coordinator has been moving round the country, holding meetings with federal government agencies on how to engage and employ youths trained by the Amnesty office.

” Ndiomu has been holding consultations with state governments and stakeholders in Niger Delta and soliciting for their ideas, support and cooperation aimed toward proffering best solutions to the human capital development and empowering of Amnesty beneficiaries trained overtime.”
Warefa urged Ndiomu to ignore distractions and remain focused on his determination to making the Amnesty programme achieve it core purpose for which it was established.
” We as stakeholders in Niger Delta should support and encourage the Interim Coordinator to succeed. The Presidential Amnesty Programme was established to rehabilitate and empower our youths and ex-militants and by extension promote peace and security in Niger Delta region.”
