Tinubu Goofed Announcing Fuel Subsidy Removal At Inauguration Ground –Adewole Adebayo

Presidential Candidate of the Social Democratic Party, SDP, in the 2023 election, Adewole Adebayo Esq, has criticised the announcement of fuel subsidy removal by President Bola Tinubu during his inaugural speech after his swearing-in as the 16th president earlier today.

Adebayo said this in a tweet on Monday evening, saying that he does not want “to seem impatient or trigger-happy” in criticisimg the new president.
The outspoken politician in his words, said: “It is not a neat way to announce a cost-driving macroeconomic policy like fuel ‘subsidy’ removal by just dropping it in an inaugural address. We need shock absorbers first.”
