BREAKING: World Champion, Tobi Amusan Cleared, To Defend Title At Budapest

The women’s 100mh record holder, Tobi Amusan has been cleared to compete at the world Athletics championships in Budapest which starts this weekend in Budapest.
It was reported that the tribunal of three arbitrators exonerated Tobi from two out of the three tests after her team argued that the tester did not do enough from locating the world champion.

In a statement from the AIU on Thursday, the body lifted the suspension placed on her last month for whereabouts failures.
“A panel of the Disciplinary Tribunal, by majority decision, has today found that Tobi Amusan has not committed an Anti-Doping Rule Violation (ADRV) of three Whereabouts Failures within a 12-month period,” the statement read.
