Police Arrest NDLEA Officer Over Death Of 2-Year-Old Boy In Asaba
The police in Delta State said they have arrested the suspected killer of a two-year- old boy, lvan Omorhiakogbe, who was hit by a stray bullet during a raid by the National Drug Law Enforcement Agency (NDLEA) in the Okpanam area of the state, Daily Trust reports.
Recall that a stray bullet allegedly killed the boy on July 13, 2023, and injured his brother during a raid by the NDLEA operatives to arrest drug peddlers.
The command’s spokesman, DSP Bright Edafe, who disclosed the arrest to journalists on Tuesday while parading some suspects, added that the suspect would be charged to court after investigation.
