Warri Residents Appeal To Oborevwori For Provision Of Electric Transformer
By Ambrose Ologide
Residents of Radio Road, Warri have made a passionate appeal to Governor Sheriff Francis Oborevwori for provision of an electricity transformer.
This was contained in a statement issued by the coordinator of the concerned residents of Radio Road Warri, Hon Michael Oritseweyimi Eboh made available to newsmen at the weekend.
The residents complained that the transformer fielding the area with electricity installed at Radio Road Junction by Lower Erejuwa Road had gone bad beyond repairs and that it was kept in an undisclosed safe place since last March.
“Before now, we made several efforts to put it in order to no avail, the statement added.

Eboh who is a Peoples Democratic Party ( PDP) chieftain in Warri South Local Government Area and the Proprietor of Trust International School, Radio Road on behalf of the residents applauded and appreciated Governor Sheriff Francis Oborevwori for the ongoing construction of gutter and road expansion projects in Lower Erejuwa Road but however expressed fear that residents of the area may be cut off from the joy of the completion of the said projects if residents were cut off from electricity supply due to the absence of electricity transformer.
The statement therefore appealed to Governor Oborevwori to come to the aid of the residents of the area with the provision of an electricity transformer like he did to residents of Marine Quarters recently.
