I Will Support The Philosophy And Objectives Of UNIDEL – Prof Mbah
The Pioneer Deputy Vice Chancellor of the University of Delta Agbor,Prof.( Mrs) Mbah Patricia Etuna, has said she would actively contribute her quota towards the growth and development of UNIDEL.
Prof Mbah made the disclosure while speaking to the press in her office on Wednesday,17th January,2024.
The Professor of Home Economics and former Vice President of African Region of lnternational Federation for Home Economics said she felt humbled and grateful to God for becoming the DVC of the institution adding that,she is glad to work with the Vice Chancellor,Prof Stella Chiemeke because of her sterling leadership qualities which has been a source of inspiration and motivation.
Commenting on the journey of UNIDEL within three years, Prof Mbah who has vast experiences in research,teacher education,food studies, family studies,fashion and advocacy and so on, disclosed that the University has witnessed massive infrastructural development and academic achievements.

She said the institution has been advancing rapidly because of the commitment of the management team as well as the dedication 0f teaching and non teaching staff.
She maintained that in a few years’ time, UNIDEL will compete favourably with world-class universities and rank among the best.
On the choice of career for children by their parents,the Academic Don advised parents to guide their children well,collaborate with their teachers and allow them( their children) to choose any career of their choice based on their interest and knowledge of the course.
While urging staff to remain steadfast and focused ,Prof Mbah noted that the best way to achieve set goals is to plan well and have effective time management in order to avoid stress.
