16-Year-Old Girl Declared Missing In Asaba

A 16-year-old girl in Asaba, the Delta State capital, Miss Oghenetega Ofurhie, has been declared missing.
According to a post on Facebook by Comrade Victor Ojei popularly called Wong Box, Lead Activist for Young Nigerian Rights Organization, the mother of the girl in a social media post, said she went missing on the 17th of June, 2024.
The woman is quoted as saying: “I can no longer hold this to myself. My eldest daughter is missing since yesterday afternoon. Pls every should help me find her , I had never slept since yesterday since she is missing.”

She was last seen on the said day some minutes past 2pm around Oduke Axis, Asaba, Delta State.
Ofurhie, who recently completed her WAEC exams, was last seen heading to a phone charging centre in the Oduke area. She has not returned home since the afternoon of June 17.
Her father has reported the case to the B Division Police Station.
The missing girl is daughter to a popular Radio DJ, DJ Quincy.
