Phone Snatchers Kill Army Officer In Kaduna

A Nigerian soldier, Lt. IM Abubakar (Isa) has reportedly lost his life to phone snatchers in Kaduna State.

The incident is believed to have occurred in the Unguwan Sarki area of the state.

This was made known by Zagazola Makama, a Lake Chad Basin counterterrorism and insurgency expert, in a post on his X handle on Wednesday.

Makama, who described the incident as a sad one, said Abubakar was a talented officer who was on his way home when the incident happened.

He wrote: “Sad. “Lt IM Abubakar(Isa) a young talented army officer was killed by phone snatchers on his way home In Unguwan Sarki, Kaduna.

“May his soul rest in peace”
