Steady, Incessant Rate Of Kidnapping Going On In Delta –Israel Joe Raises Alarm

A rights activist, Israel Joe has raised alarm over what he described as a “steady and incessant rate of kidnapping” which he said is going in Delta State, saying it was time to raise alarm.
Joe, who took to his Facebook page on Friday to lament the situation, said the kidnap operations occurred mainly in Ughelli South, Egbo, Aragba, Otokutu, Uvwie, Warri and environs.

He wrote: “Earlier today at about 3pm, one Biggy who operates a POS at Egbo was kidnapped from his house and his friend who ran at sighting the gųʼnmen escaped being shot as the buIIęt met the wall of the house as seen in the photo.”
According to him, “the security agencies must rise up to the occasion of nipping this ugly trending social ill.”
He quizzed: “How would kidnapping be an everyday thing now?”
