Troops Uncovers Terrorists Camp In Plateau, Recover Arms

Operatives of the Special Military Task Force, under Operation Safe Heaven in Plateau State have raided some enclaves occupied by bandits in Pandam forest in QUA’AN PAN Government Area of the state.
It was gathered that during the raid carried out on Wednesday, June 12, the terrorists fled on the arrival of the troops.

Intelligence sources told Zagazola Makama that the troops discovered a freshly dug out in the forest close to the terrorists camp which was also abandoned.
The troops further cordoned off the area and discovered hidden 2 Ak47 rifles, 2AK-47 magazines and 13 rounds of 7.62 MM Special.
The sources said that the troops are currently sustaining its operations to intercept the fleeing terrorists.
