According to the post, “an informant who is privy to the information about the plot said oil cabals in Nigeria are not only ganging up against Dangote and his refinery but also feel threatened by the exposure of shady oil deals in Malta.”
He continued: “Nigeria has so far imported fuel worth $2.25bn from Malta in nine years with 2023 recording the highest import from that country.”
“According to the informant, the plot would involve either be to target his private jet when he is flying or get hired assassins.
“A family source of Dangote confirmed the development and expressed worries. He said “yes we are aware. I am sure he (Dangote) maybe aware. We only pray that nothing happens to him because the consequences will be severe.”
“He said “Government must do everything to protect him. He is an asset to the country and his exposure of what is happening in the oil industry is patriotic.
A police source told me the Police is yet to receive any petition to that effect. He assured that the IG would not hesitate to order immediate investigation on the matter.”
