Afiesere Community Elects Ejotubu, Chairman, Youth/Employment Committee

The youths of Afiesere community in Ughelli North local government area of Delta state, at the weekend, came out in their hundreds and elected Mr. Erubure Ejotubu as new Chairman of the Youth/Employment Committee.

The youth/employment Committee election which was conducted at the Afiesere community town hall by the Electoral Committee led by its Chairman, Mr. Oghenedoro and Secretary, Hon
Anthony Umukperuo, confirmed that the election was conducted in line with the Afiesere community constitution.

Among those who contested and won are: Mr. Erubure Ejotubu as Chairman, Mr. Clever Utuedor as Vice Chairman, Mr. Akponana Onoriode as Secretary, Mr. Wilson Agogo as Treesurer, Mr. Victor Onofeghara as P.R.O, Mr. Oghenevwairhe Ohare as Asst. Secretary, Mr. Egurase Okpole as Financial Secretary, Mr. Odoko Gift as Speaker and Mr. Cephas Emuoboyi as Organizing Secretary.

Others are: Mr. Patrick Onoberhie as Ex Official, Mr. Osoni Oghenedoro as Ex Official, Mr. Umukoro Isaac as Ex Official, Mr. Julius Ogholaja as Ex Official, Mr. Akpojiyovwi Peter as Provost, Mr. Odoji Okpako as Provost, Mr. Augustine Ebrameta as Provost, Mr. Akpososo Shedrack as Provost, Mr. Samson Uvietaire as Provost and Mr. Ese Arighwegbe as Provost.

The Chairman of the Electoral Committee, Mr. Oghenedoro Abel and the Secretary, Hon. Anthony Umukeruo while speaking after the election, commended the outgoing chairman and members of his executives for providing all necessary documents and information for a hitch-free election.

The newly elected Afiesere community Youth/Employment Committee Chairman, Mr. Eruburu Ejotubu, while speaking assures his people of open-door policy and transparent government when he assumes office on 12th, August, 2024, saying that he will not disappoint them on the confidence repose on him.

The incumbent President General, Afiesere community, Hon. Richard Ovwreghrederohwo, President General elect, Mr. Luke Umukoro and the past President General, Mr Victor Otumemine all congratulated the newly elected executives headed by the chairman, Erubure Ejotubu, and lauded the outgoing executives of the youth/employment committee and the electoral committee for a successful election.
