Ughelli North Legislators Screen, Confirm Five Supervisors
In accordance with the constitutional provisions, the 8th Assembly of the Ughelli North Legislative Arm, led by Rt Hon. Ajero Okeoghene Prosper Kelly has screened and confirmed the five Supervisors nominees, sent to the Ughelli North Legislative Arm by the Executive Chairman of the council, Olorogun Jaro Egbo Ksc, for screening and confirmation.
A statement issued by the Press Unit, Office of the Executive Chairman of Ughelli North Local Government Council, added that “at the plenary today, Thursday, 15th August, 2024, at the legislative Chamber of the council, after a thorough cross examination of the nominees credentials and following all other due process of screening exercise, the Leader of the house, Rt Hon Ajero Okeoghene Prosper, in his affirmation with other honourable members, confirmed the five “Supervisors Nominees” sent by the Chairman..”
Rt. Hon. Okeoghene Prosper affirmed their validation after their successful screening and following a unanimous declaration by the 8th Assembly of the Ughelli North Legislative Arm.

In his words, “having met the necessary requirements without any impediment, and following the majority support of the Honourable house, I, Rt. Hon. Ajero Okeoghene Prosper, hereby declare that the following person(s) are eminently qualify to serve as Supervisor of various departments in the local Government Council”.
The screened and confirmed supervisors are Hon Eric Osiobe, Hon Egbinine Enomate Daniel, Hon Lucky Oborayiruvbe Emejuma, Hon Eyamu Edmund and Hon Efemena Ushere.
According to the statement, the date for their swearing-in would be fixed by the Executive Chairman and made public.
“Congratulations to the Five Supervisors Designate in Ughelli North Local Government Area,” the statement concluded.
