Ukwuani Boss Promises NULGE Robust Welfare Packages
The Executive Chairman of Ukwuani Local Government, Hon (Barr) C.S Possible Ajede, on Wednesday received the executives of the Nigerian Union of Local Government Employees (NULGE) led by Comrade Engr. Amaka Livingstone in audience at the Chairman’s Conference Hall.
During their visit, Barr Ajede commended the union leaders for coming to pay him a courtesy visit even when, according to him, NULGE did so much during his election campaigns, inauguration, and welcoming him back to the Council as their Chairman.
He assured the staff that under his #DoMoreAgenda, he would prioritize workers’ welfare as much as he delivers on the Ukwuani people’s mandate.

While admonishing the NULGE Exco to ensure that staff remain committed to their duties, Barr Ajede appealed for their full support, cooperation, and progressive ideas to enable him and his team Do More for the Ukwuani people and workers. He also asked the union to concretize their demands to enable him to know what they need beyond staff welfare.
Earlier in his congratulatory message, the vibrant and articulate Ukwuani NULGE Chairman, Comrade Engr. Amaka Livingstone, congratulated the Executive Chairman on his landslide victory in the recent LG Election, his subsequent inauguration, and resumption of office.
Engr. Livingstone pledged the absolute loyalty of the staff to the Ajede’s administration, even as he expressed confidence in his capacity to Do More by surpassing his unparalleled successes and achievements in his previous term. He therefore prayed to God to grant him the wisdom and grace to pilot the affairs of the Council.
