The police spokesman in Delta State, SP Edafe Bright, has said that “violent protest is not protest,” adding that “it is criminal.”
He said this on Friday in a post on X.
He recalled how Delta Police Command “got a call that some so-called protesters blocked the Asaba-Benin expressway in Agbor, beating passengers and destroying vehicles for over three hours.”
