2027: Delta Politicians Declare Support For Govr. Sheriff Oborevwori Re-election
Top politicians in Delta State, including Hon. (Elder) Prince Godwin Ogorugba, Executive Chairman Isoko North council, Hon. Chief Kome Okpobor, Director Finance and Administration, DESOPADEC, Hon. Emmanuel Egbabor, PDP State Organizing Secretary, Hon. Chief Emmanuel Erezih Okpomor, Special Assistant to the Governor, Hon. Engr. Ashaka Orobosah, former Isoko North State Assembly aspirant, and Engr Ajiri Osifihor have publicly declared their support for Governor Sheriff Oborevwori’s re-election in 2027.
This declaration was made during a thank-you ceremony hosted by Hon. Godwin Ogorugba, Chairman Isoko North Council at his country home in Otor-Igho Community on Thursday, 26th December, 2024, to appreciate his Otibio Ward 13 people for their support and prayers before, during and after the last local government election, where they affirmed their commitment to Oborevwori’s second term bid, emphasizing “No Vacancy in Government House 2027, Govr. Sheriff Oborevwori re-election is not negotiable”
They cited Govr. Oborevwori’s achievements through the MORE Agenda in Delta State particularly in Isoko Nation, including, completion of Isoko -Ughelli Road Dualization, establishment of College of Medicine at Southern Delta University Ozoro, Conversion of Delta State University of Science and Technology to a full-fledged University, Construction of Emevor- Orogun phase 1 and phase 2 Road, Construction of internal roads at Ellu community, Establishment of College of Health Technology Ovrode, among others.

The Isoko North council Chairman, Ogorugba further highlighted some of his achievements in just five months in office in consolidating the MORE Agenda of His Excellency, Rt. Hon. Sheriff Oborevwori, such as: Construction of 15 Lockup shops and 4 toilets at Ofagbe big market, the ongoing Construction of Administrative complex at the council Secretariat, the ongoing Renovation of 50 open stores at Otor-Owhe community market , Rehabilitation of Otor-Owhe -Owhelogbo Road, rehabilitation of failed portions of Otor-Iyede Road, tilling of offices in Isoko North council Secretariat, renovation of the Chairman’s Lodge, distribution of free notebooks, bags and shoes to the 43 public primary schools, distribution of soya milk to boost Children’s nutrition in Isoko North LGA, perimeter fencing at Erovie community, Ozoro among others.
The political leaders Commended His Excellency , Rt Hon Sheriff Oborevwori excellent performance across the three Senatorial districts in the state, saying with his excellent performance, his re-election bid in 2027 is not negotiable, because his projects and programs are visible to all Deltans while calling on all Deltans to join hands to support the Governor for his re-election 2027 in order to sustain his efforts in developing our dear State.
Their endorsement is a significant boost to Oborevwori’s re-election campaign, demonstrating the strong support he enjoys from key stakeholders and party faithfuls within the Delta State chapter of the People’s Democratic Party (PDP).
Chief Peter Onaibre PDP Chairman Otibio Ward 13 thanked the council Chairman Ogorugba for the enlarged Thank-you ceremony and making Isoko North people proud through his numerous projects initiated and executed since assumption of office, assuring the Chairman of the Otibio ward unwavering support and loyalty for him and His Excellency Rt Hon Sheriff Oborevwori, Governor of Delta State, declaring “where Ogorugba go 2027, we will go any time, any day” he stated
