Celebrate The Birth Of Christ With Hope For A Better Tomorrow, Deputy Speaker Tells Deltans

The Deputy Speaker of the Delta State House of Assembly, Olorogun (Barr.) Arthur Akpowowo, has called on Deltans to celebrate the birth of Christ with hope for a better tomorrow.
He said this during an exclusive chat with Oasis Magazine on Tuesday.
He said: “I wish all a merry Christmas and happy New Year in advance. I urge them to celebrate the birth of Christ, our Lord and Savior, with any little thing they can lay their hands on.”
Continuing, Akpowowo noted that the country is going through a difficult time, saying: “Like you know, people have gone for handouts, they have gone for succour, and ended their life.”

Adding: “It’s a terrible situation that we find ourselves in today. I experienced hunger and poverty last December. This year is worse, I can feel it; I can see that it is worse. But, I encourage them to celebrate this year’s Christmas anyhow possible with hope,” believing “that the 49 Trillion Naira budget of President Bola Tinubu will impact on our economy positively by next year, 2025.”
“I wish them a wonderful Christmas, despite the hard times that we are in, and a prosperous new year in advance,” he concluded.
