St. Mulumba: Jackson Kerry Retracts Allegations Against Sir Charles Mbelede, Others

By Daniel Dafe
Bro Jackson Omasan Kerry, a member of the Knights of St. Mulumba Nigeria has retracted statements he made during a press conference recently, following his alleged expulsion from the Order.
Recall that Jackson, a former leader in the group’s Benin Metro division, had said in a recent press briefing that he was unfairly removed without fair hearing because he dared to challenge powerful people within the Order.
Jackson had also claimed that the current leader of the Order, Sir Engr Dr, Charles Mbelede, wants to change the Constitution so he and his wife can take full control.
But, in a statement on Friday, he said that “upon further reflection and after a series of constructive meetings with the Worthy Supreme knight, Sir Charles Mbelede some principal officers and members of the Knights of St. Mulumba Nigeria, he now has a better understanding of the facts and circumstances surrounding the issues he previously raised.”
He continued: “In the spirit of brotherhood and in the interest of maintaining peace and harmony within our esteemed Order, I would like to retract the allegations I made against some principal officers of the Knights of St. Mulumba Nigeria.

“I acknowledge that my previous statements were made based on incomplete information and misunderstandings. I regret any distress or harm my words may have caused to the individuals involved and to the Order as a whole. It is my sincere hope that this retraction will contribute to healing and reconciliation within our order.”
He opined that as members of the Knights of St. Mulumba Nigeria, they are bound by the values of unity, charity, and fraternity.
Adding: “I am committed to upholding these values and working collaboratively with my fellow knights to strengthen our bonds and continue our noble mission.”
