Update On Kano Building Collapse: Four Bodies Pulled Out
Four bodies were recovered from the site of a collapsed three story building under construction at Abedi Street, Sabon-Gari, Kano following Sunday’s heavy downpour.
Seven others were said to have sustained varying degrees of injuries and are now receiving treatment at Murtala Mohammed Specialists Hospital, Kano.

A combined team of security operatives and officials of the state emergency management agency as well as Head of Operations, NEMA are intensifying rescue efforts to recover bodies suspected to be trapped under the rubble.
Eyewitness at the site said the victims took a shelter in the building due to the heavy downpour, which started late evening of Sunday in Kano.
Authorities are yet to ascertain the cause of the collapse as rescue operations are ongoing.
