Oborevwori Bags Award Of Excellence At NANS Leadership Summit In DELSU
Delta State Governor, Rt. Hon. (Elder) Sheriff F. O. Oborevwori, has been honoured with an Award of Excellence at the Students Leadership Summit and Retreat of the National Association of Nigerian Students (NANS), South-South Zone B.
The summit, held at Delta State University (DELSU), Abraka, had as its theme “University of Purpose: Catalysing Change through Purposeful Leadership.”
It attracted student leaders, stakeholders, and delegates from across the South-South to discuss the role of purposeful leadership in driving change and fostering student participation.
Receiving the award on behalf of the Governor, Comr. Okoh Ezekiel Oghenetega, Ph.D, Executive Assistant to the Governor on Students’ Affairs, thanked the student community for recognizing Oborevwori’s contributions to governance.
Dr. Okoh praised the leadership of NANS Zone B and DELSU students for their continued support of the Oborevwori-led administration, assuring that the government remains committed to initiatives that promote education, inclusivity, and youth development in the state.

He noted that the award was not only a recognition of the Governor’s achievements but also an encouragement to sustain policies that prioritise the welfare and advancement of young people in Delta State.
