Oasis Magazine Chapel Holds Last Congress For 2025, Sets Agenda For 2026

The Oasis Magazine Chapel of the Nigeria Union of Journalists (Oasis-NUJ Chapel) has held its last Congress for the year 2025, with members deliberating on key issues and outlining strategic programmes for year 2026.

The meeting, which recorded impressive attendance, provided a platform for members to review the activities of the outgoing year, address important matters affecting the chapel, and set clear directions for the year ahead.

In her opening remarks, the Chairman, Comr Joy Enamuotor-Simon, commended members for their steadfastness and collective commitment to the growth of the chapel.

“Distinguished colleagues, I welcome you all to this Congress. Thank you for your dedication and commitment to the growth of our chapel. Today, let us deliberate with unity, clarity, and a shared resolve to strengthen Oasis Magazine and uphold the values of our profession. I appreciate your presence and look forward to productive discussions. Thank you,” she stated.

The Congress discussed crucial developmental issues, assessed the progress made during the year, and agreed on programs aimed at enhancing professionalism, strengthening internal structures, and improving members’ welfare in 2026.
