Delta Politician, Micheal Ighofose, Is Dead

Former Governorship candidate and chieftain of All Progressives Congress APC from Ughelli North Local Government Area, Delta State, Chief Michael Aristotle Ighofose is dead.

His death was made known to newsmen on Thursday, 16th April, 2026.

Ighofose born on 9th of September 1951, passed away 4th of March 2026.

He was a popular politician and community leader from the Ofuoma Community in Ughelli North.

Ighofose was a Governorship candidate and was a member of All Progressives Congress before passing away.

The Ighofose family of Ofuoma Community, will officially announce dates for his burial as preparation were ongoing.

He is survived by a wife and children.
