JAMB Releases First Batch Of 2026 UTME Results, Three Held Over Alleged Result Fraud
The Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board (JAMB) has released the results of 632,788 candidates who sat for the 2026 Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME) on Thursday, April 16.
JAMB’s Public Communication Advisor, Dr. Fabian Benjamin, disclosed this in a statement on Friday, noting that the released results are now available for candidates to check.
According to him, candidates can only view their scores for now, as the printing of result slips has not yet commenced.
The Board also revealed that two candidates and one parent are currently in custody for allegedly engaging in result falsification using artificial intelligence and other electronic devices.
JAMB warned that any candidate found culpable in examination malpractice or result manipulation would face the full weight of the law.
