UMSS: Alumni Association Mourns Passing Of Class 1993 President, Chief Blessing Oridjeje
The Ufuoma Mixed Secondary School Old Students’ Association Worldwide has been thrown into mourning following the death of the President of the Class of 1993, Chief Blessing Oridjeje.
In a statement issued by the President-General of the association, Amb. (Dr.) Emma Obiuwevbi, the alumni body expressed deep sorrow over the loss, describing it as a painful and significant blow not only to the Class of 1993 but to the entire alumni community.
Obiuwevbi extended heartfelt condolences on behalf of the association to the family, classmates, friends, and loved ones of the deceased, whom he referred to as a devoted leader and brother.

He noted that Chief Oridjeje would be fondly remembered for his unwavering commitment, exemplary leadership, and his contributions toward fostering unity and progress within his class and the broader association.
“His memories and positive impact will continue to live in our hearts,” the statement read.
The association also offered prayers for strength and comfort for all those affected by the loss, asking God to grant the deceased eternal rest.
Chief Blessing Oridjeje’s passing marks the end of a chapter for many who knew and worked with him, leaving behind a legacy of service and dedication.
