Ajede Mourns Former Ukwuani Vice Chairman Veronica Egbune
The Executive Chairman of Ukwuani Local Government Area, Hon. Barr. Possible Ajede (PhD), has expressed deep sorrow over the passing of former Vice Chairman of the council, Hon. Mrs. Veronica O. Egbune.
In a condolence message to the Egbune family of Amai Community, Ajede described the late Veronica Egbune as a dedicated servant of God and humanity whose life was marked by selfless service.
He noted that death remains an inevitable reality for all and said the late former vice chairman had paid the price after living a life of purpose and commitment to the people.

The council chairman urged the bereaved family to find comfort in God, expressing confidence that the deceased lived a life that reflected the teachings and character of Jesus Christ.
Ajede recalled serving alongside the late Egbune during a previous administration, describing news of her death as shocking and painful.
“I was deeply shocked and saddened to hear of the passing of our former Vice Chairman, Hon. Mrs. Veronica Egbune, who served alongside me in the previous administration,” he said.
“I am profoundly pained by her departure to the world beyond.”
He further sympathised with her immediate family and prayed for God to grant them the strength to bear the loss, adding that she lived a good life and had gone to meet her Maker.
He concluded by praying for the peaceful repose of her soul and those of all the faithful departed.
