Dema Urges Delta Central Residents To Participate In Ongoing PVC Registration Exercise
A chieftain of the Nigeria Democratic Congress (NDC), Dema, has called on all eligible residents of Delta Central Senatorial District to take advantage of the ongoing Permanent Voter Card (PVC) registration exercise being conducted by the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) across various communities.
Dema described the exercise as a crucial opportunity for citizens to actively participate in strengthening Nigeria’s democracy and shaping the future of Delta Central through the electoral process.
According to her, obtaining a PVC remains the first step towards ensuring that citizens can exercise their constitutional right to vote and contribute meaningfully to governance.
She encouraged eligible residents who are yet to register to do so promptly, while also urging community leaders, youths, women, first-time voters, and persons with disabilities to embrace the exercise and mobilize others to participate.
Dema further called on residents to help disseminate accurate information about the registration process within their communities and to remain committed to peaceful civic engagement.

“Your vote is your power, and your participation matters in building a more inclusive, responsive, and accountable society,” she said.
Reaffirming the NDC’s commitment to people-oriented governance, Dema urged citizens to take an active role in changing the narrative through democratic participation and collective responsibility.
“NDC remains dedicated to service to the people and believes that active citizen participation is essential to achieving meaningful development and progress,” she added.
