Emmanuel Idoghor Emerges Oruarivie-Abraka Kingdom PG
Hon. Chief Emmanuel Idoghor will for the next three years lead Oruarivie-Abraka kingdom as the new President General, alongside others that make up the new executive.
He is to pilot the affairs of the kingdom alongside other worthy indigenes of the kingdom such as Chief Darlington Okotie (Vice-President General); Hon. Kennedy Eruotor (Secretary-General); Rev. Efemeni Winner (Speaker); Mr. Fredrick Odiete (Treasurer) and Chief Moses Oghuvbu ( Public Relations Officer).
Others are Engr. Stephen Ukrakpor (Assistant Secretary); Hon Chief Dickson Erhenede (Member); Mr. Ogbeifo Godday (Member); Chief Bernard Ughwumiakpor (Member); Mrs. Queen Izu and Prince Joseph Umufo.
Speaking to our correspondent shortly after the swearing-in ceremony in Abraka, the President General, Hon. Chief Emmanuel Idoghor, thanked the Ovie of Oruarivie-Abraka kingdom, HRM Akpomeyoma Majoroh Ojeta 11, and the people for finding them worthy, assuring that he and his executive would live up to the confidence reposed on them.
He said, inter-alia: “I want to thank the Ovie of Oruarivie-Abraka kingdom, HRM Akpomeyoma Majoroh Ojeta II, for giving us the opportunity to serve this great kingdom.
“It is my humble prayer that God will continue to give him the strength to lead this kingdom to enviable heights. Also, I thank the people for believing in me, and I assure that I will not let them down.
“I feel happy today because I have always had the aspiration to lead my people and by God’s grace this dream has come to fulfillment. My people deserve quality leadership and I am confident that I will deliver good leadership to my people.
“We have what it takes to move the kingdom forward because members of my executive committee are intellectuals and I know we will bring our wealth of experience to bear in the administration of the kingdom.”
The new PG called on the people to support the new executive to enable them deliver on their mandate.
