Asset Declaration: DTSG Gives Defaulting Political Appointees One Week Ultimatum
Political office holders serving in the Delta State Government still defaulting in the declaration of their assets, have been given one week to do so with the Code of Conduct Bureau as required by the law.
A statement signed by the Secretary to the Delta State Government, Hon. Festus Ovie Agas, said that the call had become necessary so as to enable all such persons take advantage of the one week of grace given by the Bureau to complete the processes for their assets declaration and verification on or before 31st May, 2018.
The statement noted that the exercise would take place at the Bureau’s office on the 3rd floor, Federal Secretariat, Okpanam Road, Asaba.
It enjoined all concerned to take the exercise seriously warning that defaulters would be unduly exposing themselves to sanctions by the Code of Conduct Tribunal.
