Prince Ochuko Ejohwomu, the Osuotu 1 of Abraka Kingdom, nicknamed the Ogroovior of the Universe, has celebrated his 40th birthday, alongside his 13-year-union with his heart-throb, Princess Nana Fatima Ejohwomu (the Oyovwikevwe of Abraka Kingdom).
The auspicious occasion that held recently began with a Thanksgiving Mass at Holy Trinity Catholic Church, Oria-Abraka in Ethiope East Local Government Area of Delta State, and thereafter a reception for guests at AGC Suites and Lounge, Oria-Abraka.
Present at the occasion was the Ovie of Umiaghwa-Abraka Kingdom, HRM (AVM) Ochuko Ararile (rtd) and many other dignitaries.
Speaking to Oasis Magazine (OM), Prince Ejohwomu, described the ceremony as a double celebration, adding that he has been married for 13 years but not in the Catholic Church setting and therefore he decided it was necessary to get priestly blessings for his marriage, adding that it was the wish of his mother to mark his birthday with Catholic marriage blessing.
According to him, his marital journey with Princess Nana has been fantastic, noting that they decided to get their union blessed in the Catholic Church because without this the marriage is not complete.
He said: “She has been my friend; we dated for 6 years and have been married for 13 years. So, we have been together for 19 years and we are blessed with three lovely kids.”
He specially thanked the monarch of Umiaghwa-Abraka Kingdom, HRM Ararile, his mother, the Oniemo of Abraka Kingdom, Queen Elizabeth Ejohwomu, his siblings (Adakaji Royal family), Olorogun Oscar Ibru, Owhovoriole Royal Family, extended family members, in-laws, the Momodu Royal Family, Sir and Lady Henry Mougho (his marriage sponsors) and the Sokoh family for their support and joining him in the celebration.
He also commended Rev. Fr. Philip Obewah of the Holy Trinity Catholic Church, his friends who came from all over Nigeria, high chiefs, youths, Catholic Women Organisation, Admirable Friends Social and Charitable Foundation, Lydia Schools Old Students Association, Riosan Cuisine, Aso Rock and 4geezs Development Club for their inputs to the success of the programme.
On her part, Princess Nana thanked God for the success of the occasion.
She described her husband as a wonderful father and loving man, saying that his chieftaincy title attests to his uniqueness as a unifier and one that gathers people together.
She wished him God’s protection and guidance, as she prayed that God grants him all his heart’s desire.
Prince Ejohwomu is the last son of HRM Luke Ejohwomu JP, Adakaji 1 of blessed memory, the last king that ruled over Abraka Kingdom before it split into two.
He is the General Manager of Zabadne and Co Limited, a subsidiary of Ibru Organisation.
