COVID-19: UPU Youthwing President Wishes Delta SSG, Information Commissioner Speedy Recovery

The President of Urhobo Progress Union (UPU), Youthwing, Worldwide, Comrade Efemena Umukoro has wished the Secretary to the Delta State Government (SSG), Mr. Chiedu Ebie and the State Commissioner for Information, Mr. Charles Aniagwu, a quick recovery from the dreaded coronavirus and restoration to full health.
The two top government functionaries were among the 83 new cases of the virus reported in the state on Saturday.
Umukoro, in a statement on Sunday, said, his sympathy and solidarity are with the hardworking leaders in the Okowa-led adminstration as they battle the Covid-19, saying that he is optimistic that they will recover fully.
He added: “I am hopeful that they will soon be well enough to resume their jobs in supporting the Executive to rid the state of the disease and contribute their own quota to the development of the state.
The Urhobo youth leader called on Deltans to stick to the guidelines as directed by the NCDC that help curb the spread of the disease, as he commended the Governor of the state, Senator (Dr.) Ifeanyi Okowa for his proactive actions in dealing with the pandemic so far.
