Edo 2020: Gov Obaseki Dumps APC, Buys PDP Nomination Form

The embattled governor of Edo State, Hon. Godwin Obaseki has finally dumped APC for PDP today monday after a failed attempt by the party caucus to resolve the crisis lingering between him and the national Chairman, Adams Oshiomole.

Our source disclosed that APC reconciliation meeting failed to put their house in order, hence leading to the drastic step Obaseki took to clinch PDP nomination form ahead of the Governorship election in the state later this year.

Recall that APC governors yesterday visited Tinubu in Lagos to lobby the party leader to back Obaseki for a second term.

Reports say that Tinubu urged Obaseki to prepare for the primary rather than askimg for an automatic ticket, adding that he will press for a free primary, but said he was not concerned about the mode of primary the NWC choses.

With this, it is clear that Obaseki is getting it hot with Pastor Ize Iyamu in the forthcoming gubernatorial election in Edo State.

Meanwhile, the Special Adviser on Media, Mr. Crusoe Osagie has described  the report as fake news.
