COVID-19: Nigeria Records 575 New Cases, As Total Hits 31,323

Nigeria recorded 575 new cases of COVID-19 on Friday bringing total confirmed cases to 31,323, the Punch reports.
The Nigeria Centre for Disease Control (NCDC) stated that a total of 12,795 patients have been discharged upon treatment and recovery, adding that 709 associated deaths were recorded while new infections were reported in Lagos State, the Federal Capital Territory, Abuja, among others.
The NCDC gave the state-by-state distribution of Coronavirus cases reported on Friday as, “Lagos – 224, Oyo – 85, FCT – 68, Rivers – 49, Kaduna – 39, Edo – 31, Enugu – 30, Delta – 11, Niger – 10, Katsina – 9, Ebonyi – 5, Gombe – 3, Jigawa – 3, Plateau – 2, Nassarawa – 2, Borno – 2, Kano – 1, and Abia – 1.”
