JUST IN: Edo Deputy Speaker Impeached, As Asoro Replaces Him
The deputy speaker of the Edo House of Assembly, Yekini Idiaye has been impeached.
Idiaye was impeached during a plenary season of the house on Wednesday.
Idiaye is the lawmaker representing Akoko-Edo Constituency I in the assembly.

His impeachment comes days after he declared support for Osagie Ize-Iyamu, the candidate of the All Progressives Congress in the September governorship election in Edo State.
The lawmaker representing Orhionmwon II Constituency in the Edo State House of Assembly (EDHA), Roland Asoro, has been elected deputy speaker of the House.
