2020 FAFT: Okowa, Other Stakeholders Hail Felix Anirah

Following the conclusion of the Felix Anirah Football Tournament, Chairman of Delta Sports Commission Chief Tonobok Okowa and other major stakeholders in Delta State have hailed the sole sponsor and organising committee of the Felix Anirah Football Tournament, FAFT.

Okowa called on other privileged persons to emulate Hon. Felix Anirah to develop sports in Nigeria.

Chairman of Warri Wolves Fc, Moses Etu said Chief Felix Anirah must be celebrated for the good work.

Adding: “Sponsoring a urge football tournament as such is not easy especially this difficult time.

“If other government functionaries can contribute meaningfully like Chief Felix Anirah, then there will be less problems in Nigeria sports.”

Also Chairman of Sunsel Fc, Mr. Eugene Eremionkhale said there is need for everyone to support the continuity of the Felix Anirah Football Tournament, FAFT.

“There is need to support and contribute to the sustainability of this tournament because there was proper standard although the event”.

“If we have the Delta State FA Cup, Royal Cup, CAF Charity Cup and the Felix Anirah Football Tournament then we are sure of keeping our player in good shape”.

Veteran journalist and former Chairman of Delta State Sports Writers Association of Nigeria, SWAN, Harrison Ocholor, scored the Felix Anirah Football Tournament very high, saying that the tournament has come to stay.

However, Felix Anirah has assured that the next edition will be bigger and the price money will be increased from 2milliion to 5million naira and it will encompass the south south region.
