Funkekeme Emerges South-South Chairman Of Squash Federation
Former Deputy Speaker of the Delta State House of Assembly, Rt. Hon. Funkekeme Solomon has been elected Chairman of the Nigeria Squash Federation NSF, South-South Chapter.
The election which held on Tuesday in Benin saw the Ojobo-born political tactician polling 5 votes to defeat his only challenger from Akwa-Ibom State, Engr Iniobong Udoakaha Esuene who scored 1 vote.

With this victory, Funekekeme automatically becomes a member of the Nigeria Squash Federation.
In his remark, Funekeme thanked members for the confidence reposed in him, and pledged to revamp the sport in the zone.
