6th National Youth Games: Catch Team Delta If You Can- Tonobok Okowa

Chairman of Delta state Sports Commission, Chief Tonobok Okowa, has said Team Delta is set to defend her tittle with a better lead by the end of the 6th National Youth Games in Kwara state.
While responding to a question when he was asked if Delta state should relax for other state to win this year’s edition, he said: “We want to win, because if we do, we will keep the trophy.”
“This is a National Youth Games where we look beyond just winning the games but to discover the best athletes for the country.”
“And in other to discover the best athletes proper preparation is done to bring out the best in them to win.”

“I know other states such as Lagos, Bayelsa, Edo and even Rivers are seriously wanting to overtake Delta state in the medal table but they need to catch us if they can”.
Team Delta has won all edition of the National Youth Games since its inception in 2013.
