Sagbama LGA Publicity Secretary Applauds Peaceful APC Congress In Bayelsa, Congratulates New Exco

The Publicity Secretary of the All Progressives Congress (APC), in Sagbama Local Government Area of Bayelsa State, Comr. Preye Bagou, has congratulated all newly elected State Party Executive members, describing the electoral process as free, fair and peaceful, which he said is a great step in the right direction towards building a stronger and more formidable party structure in the State.

Speaking to journalists, he added that “the peaceful electoral process with the massive participation of party elders, leaders, stakeholders and supporters, is a clear indication of one peaceful and united political family of the All Progressives Congress (APC), in Bayelsa State. The process is one of the best free, fair, peaceful and credible party elections ever conducted in the history of the party in the State.”

Bagou said that there is no doubt about the competence and capability of the newly elected state executives to discharge their responsibilities effectively towards the growth and development of the party in the State.

He added that having such leaders with so much knowledge and experience in offices to handle the affairs of the party for the next four years, is a great success achieved.

“The growth and development of the party should be perceived as a collective effort irrespective of individual interests and differences. As such, we should create a peaceful and united political family by working in synergy with the newly elected ward, local government and state executives which will be geared towards building a stronger and more formidable party structure and support base at various level across the State,” he opined.

Bagou appreciated the leaders and stakeholders of the party who availed themselves despite their busy schedules in conducting a free, fair and peaceful elections.

He also appreciated the party national electoral committee, members of the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC), and security personnels in order to ensure free, fair and peaceful elections.
