DELSU VC Hopeful That MDCN Will Re-approve Medicine Programme, As Accreditation Team Visits

Vice-Chancellor, Delta State University (DELSU), Abraka, Professor Andy Egwunyenga on Thursday received the Accreditation visitation team of the Medical and Dental Council of Nigeria, MDCN led by the Registrar, Dr T. Sanusi for Re-accreditation of DELSU Medicine Programme.
In a statement late Thursday, Professor Egwunyenga, said: “It’s our hope that at the end of the exercise our carrying capacity for training of Medical Doctors will be increased.”

Adding: “DELSU is committed to sustain its high quality in medical education. The University is very grateful to the State Governor and Visitor to Delta State University, Sen. Dr Ifeanyi Okowa for giving unprecedented support in personnel and equipment for the Accreditation exercise.”
