He said that God anointed him over four decades ago to spread the gospel of Jesus Christ, adding that he has not relented in preaching the gospel and winning souls for Christ.
Dr. Odogbo further said that God gave him the vision to establish the Shelter of Christ Mission 30years ago and it has grown with thousands of members and several branches within and outside Nigeria, stressing that the 30th anniversary celebration would spur him to organize more crusades, revivals, prayers of liberation and peace for mankind.
Bishop Odogbo said that as a minister of the gospel he has devoted himself to the spreading of the gospel of love and peace and pointed out that Christ suffered on the cross for our redemption, noting that the suffering brought us eternal life and ushered us into everlasting victory over satanic forces for all believers of Christ.
He disclosed that God who ordained Jesus to save mankind from destruction also ordained him to preach the saving gospel of Jesus Christ, stressing that many have repented and accepted Christ as their Saviour.
According to him “His suffering, death and resurrection has brought us victory, success, peace and prosperity. His riches in glory has brought us salvation, joy, health, peace, prosperity, progress, strength and victory to us in all seasons”.
Bishop Odogbo who is the national coordinator of Niger Delta Intercessors Prayer Group affirmed that he used the gospel to create opportunity for people to come closer to God through the spreading of the gospel of love and peace to many riverine communities which invariably brought peace to the once volatile crisis and struggle against marginalization of the Niger Delta with many people embracing peace.
