Akpojaro Intensifies Efforts At Organising 10 Kilometres Race In Ughelli, Asaba

The registration and screening of participants for the 2022 edition of Prince Akpojaro 10 kilometres road race for students of public and private secondary schools in Ughelli and Asaba will take place between the hours of 6:am and 7:45am on February 13 and 20 respectively.

According to a statement released by the sponsor of the initiative, Mr. Prince Akpojaro participants in Ughelli are advised to converge outside Oharisi primary school for the race which will kick off by 8am from the school while that of Asaba race will start and terminate outside St. Patrick’s College, Asaba.

The statement further informed all motorists Oharisi primary school to take alternative routes between 7:am and 11:am and same applies to motorists at Nnebisi road, Asaba where that of Asaba sports race will take place.

It is stressed that the first boy and girl to cross the finish line will go home with the sum of ₦ 80,000 while second and third positions will win ₦ 40,000 and ₦ 20,000 respectively and same goes to their schools.

Similarly, the adults 10 kilometres road race in Ughelli and Asaba that is scheduled to hold the same dates is open to interested public and private individuals/workers who want to be fit and remain healthy.
