Femi Adesina: I Have A Job Promotion Awaiting Me After President Buhari’s Tenure
Special Adviser, Media & Publicity to Nigeria’s President, Femi Adesina, has revealed his plans for life after his principal’s tenure ends.
During a recent interview on national television, Adesina stated that President Buhari is not the kind of president who retires to a drinking session after the day’s job.

Speaking about life after President Buhari’s tenure, Adesina said, “I obtained a leave of absence when I left The Sun Newspaper in 2015. I still have my job at The Sun. However, the company’s publisher magnanimously informed me that I would not return to the post of Managing Director (MD) of The Sun, as I would be promoted to the post of Vice Chairman of the company after I return from leave. I have a job awaiting me as Vice Chairman of The Sun Newspaper. I have never stepped into the company since I left in 2015. I pray to go there after I leave my present position. I deliberately did not visit the company because I did not want to cause a distraction to the workers. The workers cried on the day I left in 2015.”
